• Elkhorn Mountain Cytology is a well-established cytology laboratory located in Helena, Montana. As a small company we have the ability to be dedicated to every client. We are committed to provide customer service to all our Health Care Providers and their patients.
• Our Cytotechnologists are all board certified with an average of 28 years experience.
• Our ASCUS:SIL ratio is 2.2:1. This is a good indicator of our diagnostic skills.
• The Cytotechnologists have been performing the ThinPrep® Pap Test since it was FDA approved.
• We have developed a procedure for reprocessing all “Unsatisfactory” ThinPrep® Pap Tests. If there are cells in the collection vial we will recover them. This is done at no additional charge.
• We offer exceptional turn-around-time. Results are mailed the same day as the specimen is received in the laboratory. Pathologist review cases are resulted in two or three days of receipt.
• We provide monthly reports listing of all your Pap Tests by patient and diagnosis to allow you to verify your records.
• Our fee schedule is very competitive. We can bill your clinic or insurance/patient directly.
